The Post of Mystery and Unknown

Applied the partition function last night. The best I can say is that things went pretty smoothly, except for the presence of an extra term.

    I suppose that's due to their close relationship. Apparently, this extra term that can manifest in the partition function can be a real hindrance when applying the partition function to get a practical result.
